Sale soon

I doubt a price was agreed when the EFL signed off PW. I suspect now they are working with the board to try and force Jason into accepting a fair offer. This may all go tits up folks

The words 'fair offer' and 'Jason' do not go together, but the words 'tits' is appropriate.

but too many people have now bought season tickets, strengthening Jason’s hand at the negotiating table.

the idea of the #napm was to give Jason no cards to play with

As there is very little I can do in support of this ongoing sad and messy saga, I decided long ago to just remain very interested, and adopt a 'que sera, sera' attitude.

However, one thing that the very eloquent man in the black turban said recently has really stuck in my head. It was about his support and excitement about the Eden North Project, and that the purchase of MFC sort of ran hand in hand with the
Eden North Project. I am very sceptical about Eden North actuall happening, and as such have my doubts about MFC being sold any time soon.

On another note I notice that the Strathmore Hotel is likely to be demolished soon, and replaced by an Aparthotel complex.

I've got to a stage where if the sale happens it happens if it doesn't then so be it pointless worrying about it anymore

Maybe I will wake up to good news later before my night shift or the nightmare will continue

I don't even know whether I want this sale to go ahead. I think it will be a nightmare whichever way it goes. My dream is that someone else steps in.......but it's not going to happen.

I think MFC should announce the sale of the club as broke down.

because Jason won't accept the deal.

And apologise for getting fans hope up.

I remember reading something about the new owners wanting to build a hotel at the front of the ground, not sure if that's even possible as most of it has been built on now.

Eden North will be like anything round here it will take years of delays like the bypass.

I suspect the Board know no more than us as to what is going on. If it has broken down I think whoever posted the fact there was a problem on 1920union twitter site is owed an apology.

To be fair, the bypass delays were because too many morons, including the Morecambe Bay Independents and the then Labour MP blocking it/objecting fantasising about a non-existent 'Western' route.

Down to one dome, don’t think that’s up to much so don’t put too much into linking up the Club to the Eden Project.

O/T how many leaders of the project has there been all probably taking a good Salary, talking it up and as far as I can see it’s just been about altering plans, while no progress is made and dates get pushed back, No wonder the lady complained about Eden Fatigue. Though we are absolutely exhausted with Sale Fatigue!!

Back to Topic, “all parties expect it done this week!!” Well if it does not happen the Shrimps Trust need to look at changing tact.

.

Would love to know what their current tactics are. They certainly aren't doing much to keep us updated.

But then again it's the Morecambe Fans Trust, and we're inherently bad at communication aren't we? Christ, easy to forget we recently had a CEO that actively tried to raise standards across the club as a whole.

Its NOT Off Topic! The eloquent man in the black turban said on video that the purchase of MFC and the success of Eden North were intertwinned.

Ok ok not off topic, but the Eden Project is something that needs to be followed with great care, there are many ups and downs on this project yet, a revamp does not stop me from having Eden fatigue. I think that is a fair stance to take on the project as it was first conceived in 2018. I just want the new owners when  they take over to concentrate on football as a priority.

Did they indicate which July?

Hands up, who still thinks we will be battling at the top of National League next season?
