Jason will be now quite happy enough season tickets have been sold, and can still have his lifestyle sat around a swimming pool on the Costa Del Crime, thanks to us mugs for buying season tickets.

i’m mad with myself for renewing on the back of the MFC statement last week saying the papers have gone to the solicitors.

i would urge anybody who still hasn't renewed season tickers, to hang fire!!

Not all of us our mugs as you say. I'm yet to buy mine.

I bought a season ticket and I'm not a mug

Just read the latest update from the trust and they are hoping the sale goes through the week commencing the 16th June

Shrimps Trust Chair's update just come out. Basically it gives reassurances that whilst the sale completion was expected this last week it is now expected to be in the coming week and that until it does PWs have no direct say in the club business.

the more people who buy season tickets, just strengthens Jason hand at the negotiation table, with this £800.000 they're all arguing about.

Jason could still pull the plug on this deal, and carry on living a lifestyle thanks to season ticket sales.

I bought mine just before the deadline. Wasn't totally convinced but with nothing said about what the prices would be after early bird I went for it. If Derek stays and sale goes through i'll be happy enough. But if not, i'll be feeling a bit juped

But it also says that the Trust are pushing for stability after the takeover which suggests to me that changes are coming

As I've said before..... the problem is that humans generally believe what they want to believe and often go with heart before head because they don't want to face up to worse case scenarios.

I fully understand the reasons for a few people not buying season tickets but the PLAYERS need our support at home and away games

Morecambe will get a parachute payment of 100% of the EFL League Two basic award payment 2025-26. So with season ticket sales ( last time we herd from the Club on this subject) ahead of the previous year, what is the worry? Wouldn’t it indicate the Club might have an healthy players budget this season!!

If we are still in the National League next season we get 50% of that years EFL League Two basic award payment.
Yes it is up to the Club how they use the parachute payments, not all monies will go to the players wages.

AI is saying League Two clubs will a get fixed sum of £1.5M for the upcoming season 2025-26.

When you say a few, do you care to hazard a guess at how many are holding out buying a season ticket yet?
If not sold fans many of those fans will go to away games, it’s home games they will not go to till the Club is sold.
My conservative guess is over 75, but it would not surprise me if it is not more than double that.

I wouldn’t be optimistic about anything that comes from the club or the trust. We’ve been strung along with false hope for too long. Until the sale is 100% complete I can’t take anything they tell us seriously.

That's a bit harsh red shrimp

There isn't much else the club and the trust can do

It's between Jason and Panjab Warriors if the sale progresses and finishes

Far from harsh really, just how I feel about the whole saga.

I was optimistic the 1st couple of times they told us the sale is close, but I can’t be now until the deal is signed sealed and delivered.

It is also about after the sale process has been completed, we as a fan base have not to become complacent, we have to be vigilant and make sure the new ownership matches up to its word.

The Trust has done some very good work over the last 12-16 months and I believe it would be great if it can build upon that by building up a great rapport with the new ownership and become a real advocate for Morecambe FC fans by having a real influence on how the new ownership want to take the Club forward.

It’s also something the wider fan base could be doing with the new ownership.

All very nice in theory but when it comes down to it if the new owners turn out to be like Jason and his crony there is very little that the fans can do about it as has just been proved.....and has been proved at other clubs.

I hope Jack from the Trust can analyse the Bond Groups accounts.
Carbon copy of the year before which doesn't make sense. Where has the money come from to run the football club?

As it’s probably going to be another loss on top of the loss, it’s going to be Deja vu.

Another question must be with some decent money from Cup competitions and the sale of a few players where has that gone?

I think analysts of our accounts will show he didn’t put there enough money to run the club to a decent level any way, for some time now. Which has been the root of our problems since he put it up for sale and the sole contributory factor for our decline of being a EFL League 1 Club within 3 yrs to a National League side.

Ask your selves why have we made losses? Who took money out? What were the 2 resent Satification of Charges (in full), cost? Or other loans being repaid?
