Hope the sales are going well, it’s hard to gage how many seats are being sold as now you cannot get to count every section of the stand. As for standing ticket sales there is no way of counting, the Club will know so maybe an update from them?

Should be noted that other clubs are proudly informing fans how many ST are sold through social media. I would like to know whether it's just our media not doing that, or if they've been told to keep it quiet. Now why would they do that :?

Wel newcomer or a rebranded old timer whatever you are certainly leaving a lasting impression. First joining the club by having a pop at me and then questioning the club about season ticket info .

I wonder if there will now be a rush for S/T's with the headline on OWS ?

Not yet for me, I’m sticking with not getting a season ticket while Whittingham is still the owner. When a sale is finally over the line I will get one as I believe in giving the new guys a chance (I’m sceptical but after what’s happened I think we all should be). So I will get my ticket when the takeover is Complete, even if it costs me some money.

It will have been enough for some people but like Billy has said, Whittingham IS still the owner of the football club. Nothing has changed for me despite the promising news yesterday.

regarding #napm

I have lost my seat where i like to sit

i have bought another season ticket, now the deal is as good as done.

i would like to say i’m disappointed with the shrimpstrust for not doing more on social media to get as many members as possible to vote on a boycott and the timing could of been better with asking members, and i’m not sure i will be rejoining it.

Have you thought about standing? As mentioned elsewhere, it would be good if some of the regulars on ShrimpsVoices stood for election, as the Shrimps Trust doesn't appear to be very representative at the moment.

Bought mine last night. Not because of any news really but I guess we have no choice but to keep backing Derek and the team. I just hope for some decent home form and some positivity. UTS

feel the trust needs to reach out more to the younger fans.

the vote about the boycott should of been more than just an email sent out before the season ended, it should of been at the end of the season and blasted on social media for a better voting turnout.

its caused a bit of division the #napm

and respect to those who were prepared to take action, than burying their heads in the sand.

Only Trust members could vote and the Trust could not take a stance either way until they knew what the membership wanted.

i know that.

i’m not suggesting non members, just a reminder on social media to people to check there emails, and there is an actual vote.

OK. I guess I just find it strange that people would use social media but wouldn't bother checking their e-mails but I suppose some do.

Did it cause division? I’m sure we will all be as one once the sale happens. As for respect it’s not needed I just hope there is a degree of understanding why some fans decided they wanted to take that course of action.

I still won’t be buying a season ticket until the sale is all signed sealed and delivered, my decision, right for me and I don’t think I will ever regret that.

I think people have not shown much displeasure, it’s just putting forward alternative thoughts which is what this platform is for. With anyone who decided to individually support the idea of the NAPM campaign. It was an individual thing and for me the right thing I believed I needed to do when considering the ownership of Whittingham.

If you remember even around the time of the Fans Forum I was against the NAPM campaign but ultimately changed my point of view and for those who I have talked too about the ownership issue ever since then, Morecambe supporters or not, they have understood for me a threshold had been crossed and ultimately it was his shenanigans that the GREAT FALL from being an established EFL team and one on a journey to try and establish Morecambe FC as a EFL League 1 team has happened.

Everything that has happened over the last 4 yrs on the downward spiral to the National League is because of his intransigence. The NAPM campaign was against Whittingham and for helping to highlight the plight Morecambe FC have been put in under his ownership these last four years.

Division isn't the right word really. Some fans didn't want to take part in the campaign and then tried to claim some sort of moral highground.

Anybody that was willing to miss home games in protest against an owner that has run the club in to the ground should be applauded.

As soon as the club announce the competed sale
I'll be the happiest person on here. I'll buy two season tickets straight away. I'll attend the Geoff Willson quiz night at the club.
I'll be waiting for the new shirt to be released.
Infact the energy to spend more will be back lol

Please Jason Whittingham

EXACTLY THIS!

Those who oppose the NaPM appear to believe we want the club to fail. The reality is, we believe that not doing anything, and carrying on as before, is guaranteed to make the club fail.

We WANT TO SPEND OUR MONEY AT THE CLUB,
WE WANT IT TO SUCCEED,
WE WANT WHITTINGHAM GONE.

I bothered to open the email. It then asked me for a Google password. No idea if I even have a Google account. Not sure if everyone in the trust does either. So no response from me. Really we should have had a public meeting like we did when relegated from L1.

Seems to me the Trust leadership are on board with the sale and don't share the same concerns about the source of funds or motivations of Panjab Warriors. It's like they know things we don't but I find it strange that they haven't yet shared this information. Perhaps things will become clearer next week.

I seem to remember that potential buyers can't say things in public that will influence a sale.
I was part of the Trust that met Jason and Sarbjot.
The same applied

Looks like £322 for a season ticket for me after Tues.
That's £14.00 a game, not bad price to pay once Whittingham's gone.

You can soon spend that nowadays but worth it for him being gone ASAP.
