I understand that board members have to protect and do the best for that company.

Prices gone up but you genuinely believe that we are selling more?

Yes I do because I believe what the BoDs are saying.
I said it before but to continue to call them liars is totally out of order...
Costs are going up everywhere. Our club is NOT immune to rises so price increases are complet justified.
The cost of transport alone will have increased over the season as will overnight accommodation.
The loss of significant sponsorship from Sky will also have a negative affect on our club. So it needs everybody to put to one side their protesting and think of the survival of our club for a change. The National Legue could cost more to participate than the EFL due to the loss of numerous revenue streams .

This is a bit silly. They've got a duty to protect the club, but not by outright lying. If figures were significantly down, then the board would probably just try to avoid mentioning them, rather than make stuff up in the press.
They'll be telling the truth, but I don't think it's worth reading into the figure much at this point. The people who feel strongly about renewing were always more likely to do so in the first couple of weeks. Give it till the end of the early bird period, then we'll probably have a better idea of how NAPM may have affected things.
