Chesterfield (A) Predictions

Postby AndyReifman » Mon Apr 21, 2025 3:58 pm

While the league is effectively over, a few matches remain.

Do I think we'll play better with the pressure off? Nope, but I'll maintain my optimism. 0-1 win for us.

3-1 loss.

I think I’ve been to positive in my predictions all season, you can only be winning this be putting scores as they will be in reality not what your hoping for. A lesson learned!

For me these last 2 games in the EFL for now are the ideal time for DA to give youth a go. We'll never know what they are capable of until given some valuable game time.

There is no pressure on us now as our season has all but finished and DA has to look toward to next season if the rumours are correct (hopefully) that he is here next season.

Another rumour is that he has bought some property in the area so it would be fair to assume that he is with us to rebuild a squad capable of a top 10 finish,,,possibly even higher :!:

DA is for me the only manager with the ability to operated on a limited budget. I know some would like to see Coleman at the helm but it's his assistant who concerns me after some less than complimentary words on Radio Lancashire about the our club and by implication our BoDs who have done their best under very difficult circumstances.

Booked it ages while ago with railcard for £24.90 return. Did notice that certain trains were particularly expensive.
Can see 250 turning up for our final League away game and a new ground for quite a few.

2.0 loss and on the sunloungers

Being 10 points back with two games left the only way I can draw level with my son is by coming up with something totally wacky. So them 1 us 2 :o

About as much chance as Elvis turning up at the match today. Riding Shergar!
