Heard all this before, about the sale of the club, just as season tickets go on sale.

As the statement acknowledges....it sounds like a stuck record. "there appears to be real progress over the last two weeks" not "there has been real progress". No criticism of the board here I'm just making it clear that they can only report what they are told (which has often turned out to be a pack of lies by the owner).

OK, yes we are all hurting, but that can end by the uplifting news we have been sold, finally comes true.

Let’s hope any new owner treats our Club better and funds it better than the last few years under the current owner.

I’m also sure that the level of football in the National League will surprise many and we therefore have to recruit accordingly.

So as for season ticket prices, if people remember, I advocated a price rise when we were promoted to League One (to help buy the quality needed) and I think not doing that was a mistake. So now we are demoted, is bringing in price hikes going against the natural thinking of that the price of ticketing would go down?

Well I do think it was announced on the wrong day, but if we want the team to do well the fans have to help some way towards it how ever large or small the amount will be.

Now all that will be hampered if we are not sold, the NAPM campaign and all the rights and wrong of it will have an effect on the Club with the resulting reduced revenue coming into the Club.

Well I believe it just won’t be, as James said, Groundhog Day if we still have the same owner, it will be another bad year for the Club, unless that’s what James meant.

So it’s JASON OUT TO SURVIVE,

When that happens I’m sure the Morecambe family will come together and surprise a few how well supported this Club will be in the National League.

JOTS

Maybe we could have an update from our owner regarding the sale

Just not enough detail for me.
It just feels like we are going round and round in circles.

Even if a sale does go through in the next few weeks, do we trust the new owner?
It has taken them an extraordinary long period of time to give the EFL all the paperwork that was required (if indeed they actually have). Whilst other club's buyers have flown through the process.
Either the new potential purchaser has something to hide or they are not very good with paperwork. Neither is a good look....

Given that Punjab Warriors have only spoken to the Trust following their identity being disclosed by a journalist and not to mention the bizarre statement via Morecambe FCs own media, it hardly inspires confidence.
