Yes but goading each other is not the ideal place right about now, this time should be about uniting and not dividing, i know both sides are trying to help the club but i see infighting like this consistently.

I am happy for anybody who really wants to buy a season ticket for next season to get one and I hope they watch some good football, I hope the ownership issue is resolved and I join them. In the meantime I hope others are happy for me to do what I feel is right.

Each and every fan will have their own opinions and voice, time and again if they want, that’s part and parcel of following football. I don’t think any infighting is going on at all, but you obviously do, so is that infighting?

Just been looking at the season ticket price chart again and I have just noticed something that I need to clarify . Has anybody got season tickets in C2 (with suite access) please because if you look it says only C1 has suite access .

I have just looked at the prices for next season----mine has gone down from £322 to£247 (unless i have read them wrong)---how has " born again's" gone up?

1953, so last years season ticket cost me £320 x2 in C2
This seasons renewel I am being asked £412 x2 in C2
An increase of £92 x2
If yours has gone down you are very lucky !

The £150 season tickets in league one weren't a terrible idea, maybe they were a bit cheap but it boosted the average attendance massively. The current prices are reasonable and realistically we always needed to get back to this sort of level, I suspect they'll still be one of the lowest priced in the national league but it was just incredibly bad timing.

Totally agree. We used this offer to bring in new fans and more than doubled our attendances. We should have continued this momentum to build the ground and squad up but instead then made cutbacks. I love Rod but he's very much of the old school mentality. I think James and Charlie bought some new ideas to the table but we're ultimately scuppered by the owner.

I am in C2 also. I took this to be a mistake - I am sure they mean C1 and C2 both include admission to the Local Choice Suite. But it needs confirming with the Club. I will go to the shop tomorrow to check (and to buy my ST).

Bill, I renewed my ST this morning at the Club Shop. Seems like C2 (and C1) people can opt to buy a ST with W&L Suite Access, or without. Prices are:

With W&L Suite Access:
£412 full price adult
£347 OAP rate

Without W&L access:
£312 full price adult
£247 OAP rate

So they are charging an extra £100 for W&L access. So over 23 home league games, that works out at around £4 per match.

I wanted to have W&L access, so I paid £347 OAP rate.

This current season there was an intention to charge £10 per game for access to the Local Choice Suite. Not sure how successful it had ben as it did appear that a lot of fans did get access without having to pay for it. Maybe this is the club's attempt to stop such a happening next season.?

Does seem unfair when some people pay extra to go in the LC Suite and then at half time it’s a free for all!.And don’t get me started on freebie tickets !!!

The only way to stop such a practice is to have at least 2 security people on the doors of the suite to check that everybody has an appropriate ticket. It may require everyone who has a guest on the day having to be issued with a pass. No pass or appropriate season ticket then no entry. Will annoy some but can't see an alternative.

Tried it before and it just caused a backlog of people coming up the stairs and a lot of angry supporters .

Previously you were issued with a gold card if you had bought a season ticket in lockdown, to say thank you for your loyalty, looks like that's gone now.

Wonder how lifetime ticket holders will be dealt with, I know one in particular won't be paying the money

Yes, that used to be the case. There was usually a grumpy old steward at the top of the steps checking peoples' tickets that caused a chaotic queue on the steps. When the queue got too big, he'd give up and let everyone through without checks. Those in the know, used to wait at the bottom watching for when he gave up and then joined the queue up and into the suite! You soon learned not to go in too early if you didn't have the "right" ticket!

There is already a system in place, When you are in corporate your seat ticket has a yellow tab stapled to it, to show to gain entry back into the lounge, at half time, or going to the toilet, etc.
