What I would say is that is a shame because if the Shrimps Trust members did in-fact vote in favour of supporting the NAPM campaign it will give it legitimacy.
I’m sure some individual members will still go and that’s their prerogative, it is not easy to go against your natural instincts and turn up watching your team, it’s understandable and no one should knock them.
We are though as a Club, in a perilous place, we have been dragged into it by our owner. Everything that has happened can be linked to him putting the Club up for sale, valuing it too high and since then being reluctant to fund the Club at a decent level. (Is there anybody who would argue with that? It’s like a before and after, he bought in and to be fair we got promoted but as soon as he wanted out, DECLINE!!) and he is not the one to get us out of it.
Does anyone believe he can fund us properly next season?
It’s between a rock and a hard place we are in and that is a crying shame.

They along with fans are the backbone of our club irrespective of any owner at any given time.

Can't contemplate the club going out of business, but that's the way we're going.![]()

Give me something to be positive about. If there isn't a 'Not a Penny More' campaign, and we all continue as we have this season and last...
HOW DO YOU SEE IT PANNING OUT?
In your opinion, with no campaign, what will happen next season and why?

It's going to be difficult that's for sure even if and when the owner goes, but to be so bloody gloomy now before any new season ahs kicked off if silly.
I'm sorry but I simply do not get the mindset of those who will back the NAPM shambles. Are you and those of like mind really prepared to put a final nail in the coffin of OUR club.
This coming close season OUR club will need all the finance it can get and those who support this bloody stupid campaign are contributing to the demise of mine and your club.
We will NEVER agree on this subject but I and the majority of fans young and old see no sense in the action which I wager will have zero effect on the current owner.

The only thing it will do is make financial matters going forward even worse.
Fans should support a club through the good times as well as the bad times.....and these are for sure the very bad of times.
You ask what will happen....those of a like mind as you will be guilty of contributing to the club being in even a worse financial mess.
I admit that I don't have an alternative.....but I simply believe that the owner will not give any notice of any campaign as he has continued to do for the last 2 years or so. So I will continue to my annual purchase of a season ticket and support my team and the BoDs both on and off the field in what ever way I can.
The only positive for me at this moment of sheer depression is that the sale of our club I firmly believe is nearer than it has ever been.
