Who pays the bills?

Who pays the bills?

Postby redrobo » Sat Apr 05, 2025 12:45 pm

If there is no money left to pay wages, transport, accommodation and general running costs at the end of the month....where does the finance come from to keep our club afloat.... :?: :?: :?:

My understanding is that at that until the end of this season we are OK but after that when no gate or hospitality revenue is available where do our BoDs get the finances necessary from...and just as importantly to provide DA will some money to build a squad for next season :?: :?: :?:

Are you being serious? You have just posted that a sale in imminent on another topic and here you are saying we will just get by until the end of the season.

Firstly.... the money would have to come from ANOTHER loan from Jason who will then be getting more interest from it.
Secondly ....Do you really expect Derek to stay on after this season?
Thirdly.....It wouldn't surprise me if the Board resigns.

Interesting that nobody has posted an answer to my question about Who pays the bills when the BoDs are unable to provide the finance other than the current owner or the new owner.

The NAPM campaign are unable to provide answers but seem intent on driving our club into a dire crisis by withholding money for such things as season tickets.

That is EXACTLY the point!!! Whittingham will keep screwing the club, getting richer, until it goes out of business. OR 'Not a Penny More' and he will see that 'going out of business' is going to happen sooner, so HOPEFULLY he'll be motivated to sell at a realistic price.

You say nobody is explaining it, but it has been said repeatedly. But you never answer when asked...

What's the alternative? How does it play out in your mind? Keep buying season tickets etcetera, which keeps funding Whittingham. Then, we get relegated to National League North. We still have almost £300,000 in interest to pay to 'someone', but on National League North crowds. The costs of running the stadium won't go down. Electricity for the floodlights cost the same in National League North as Championship. The rates will be the same. Who funds that?

If we drop into National League North, the club goes under anyway. So why do you want to give Whittingham even more money?

We all want the best for the club, so if you have a different point of view, that's fine, but explain how you see things having a positive ending, because I can't see it.

Enough is enough.

So how did that work out then?

A few years ago you kept bragging about your "substantial pension pot"

Why don't you pay them?

Not sure if the drinks supplier has been paid recently, in the bar after the game yesterday there was no Guinness no cider apart from cherry. Ran out of the 2 bottles of pino they had behind the bar! Pretty poor considering it was an expected largest crowd of the season! Hope they get a delivery before Easter Monday or we might need a certain messiah to turn water into wine!!
Don't worry be happy!
