Just seen a message on Instagram from Morecambe Fc saying what's going on at Worcester will not affect our football club

Really hope that's true

Here here! This allied to the fact that we are doing our best to give Cole an acceptable offer to sign a new contract are both positive signs.

Fingers crossed it all works out well.

Apparently Worcester aren't the only club in big trouble
Wasps (1 of biggest names in rugby) are also facing massive issues

Worcester Warriors owners withdraw proposal to play in Championship and rebrand as Sixways Rugby - https://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/64502475

The rebranding means staff and creditors get sweet nothing

It now seems that Worcester will restart playing at level 10 of the rugby pyramid next season, its despicable that our owners got the rugby club in this situation,And we thought we as a football club were safe and separate from the situation! Who is going to pay the clubs wages this month if the sale has not gone through?

Jason is a horrible man with no integrity at all. To him destroying a football/Rugby club means nothing to him as long as it makes him money.
Make no bones about it he is the only reason we are going down. The Shyster has had an easy ride from Morecambe fans. I despise the man.
I will be there today to cheer on the boys but you can bet your bottom doller that Del boy won't be.

If you want to point fingers , start with PMG selling his shares to Diego Lemos which is where this whole pantomime started.

Del and Rodders did provide funding from 2018 and who knows where we would be if they hadn't.

They didn't provide funding.
They paid off the debt.

My recollection although someone may remember better is that they bought 750,000 x £1 shares by putting £750,000 into the club bank which was funding to cover approximately 2 years losses.

This is what happens when your club is owned by someone who is not a fan and it is hard to see the next owner and the one after that being any different.

Didn't we have a high interest Loan that had to be paid back? I am sure Rod mentioned it in an interview

Are back in business. Two and a half years without a club to follow and numerous false starts but they are back and Whittingham free. I hope that the powers that be catch up with Whittingham and Goldring and punish them for the dodgy dealings that killed the club but today is for the fans of the club.

What that man did to Worcester was an absolute disgrace. If Jason is still here next season make no bones about it he will take what he can before he runs it into the ground.

For those who think NAPM will harm the club more than Whittingham if he keeps control, take a look at what happened at Worcester Warriors.
You can believe Whittingham and Goldring (they are still directors of some company’s together!!), and the spin they put on what happened at WW and draw your own conclusions on the striking similarities with them and Morecambe FC.
If he wants to truly sell for goodness sake sell the Club it has become a mess under his control.

Whittingham simply wants to get as much cash out of the club before it goes under. Whether that is this season, next season or the season after is irrelevant to him. Whether there is any club left after he goes is of no concern to him.

The ONLY action fans have is to withhold money, so he can see the writing is on the wall and hopefully bail out. Otherwise, we just carry on with a slow death.

So how did that work out then?
