Would be a real admission of being in a relegation fight if they go for Bentley when Evatt goes (which is meant to be imminently).
It would basically be giving up on trying to find a successor for his style and ideals and going for relegation dogfight pedigree. Listening to an interview with Evatt (very interesting listen:

Targeted recruitment and an attitude of 'we will play good football, play better than you and beat you'. Shades of a younger Bentley perhaps, but not now - although hoping that at some point in his career he will turn that around.
