You can make that three now  Given that we already knew Arts had spoken to their keeper, why Jevons didn't just blast it down the centre, to do something different, I don't know.

I wanted Stnaley to just blast it down the centre. You have said exactly what i was thinking.

i was watching Artell closely throughout the game today, and I noticed that he was superb in the air at clearing his lines, got blocks and tackles in at important times, kicked it away rather than messing about with it, and encouraged his fellow defenders by TALKING to them,
everything we are currently missing. :( :(

Disappointing that Dave didn't acknowledge the Morecambe fans in the MBW before the match singing his name :(

Doesn't stop him aknowledging us. Afterall, we gave him so much support. Even he said we were great supporters. Bit strange that when we chanted he didn't look. Wouldn't you agree?

Agree wholeheartedly Matty. He even sang our praises and his time at the club this week in interviews he gave that we have all read on here, in The Vis (well, some of us !!) and in today's (excellent) programme.

Well get your facts right then, before saying something like that. The only reason i stayed was to see if he did or not.

He did, and so i applauded. He was brilliant today, best of luck to him at Crewe.

There i've said it...Wow OMG

You guys need a lesson on how to use the PM system?

Back to the point, I think he was right not to acknowledge fans before the game, he had a job to do and 'being nice' to us wasn't part of it! I'm sure it was appreciated and as mentioned he acknowledged fans at the end of the game.

So how did that work out then?

Kieth is correct in the fact crewes skipper got on with it pre match with his team, he payed his dues to us at full time, and took the points, I personally think that if bentley and artell were our center halfs, / management team, we would be mid table.

well i've got to say i'm glad from our point of view that Dave had a good game. but dont be fooled, he hasn't been that solid in the last few games.

i liked how he told our keeper which way Jevons was putting the penalty. i just hope this is dave back to his best.

sorry about McCready.
