I am happy to put it on record that this deal will NOT happen. I’ll be the first to hold my hands up if it does but that is a classic case of why not to trust Twitter transfer accounts.

Devitt on the other hand seems likely he’ll be heading to either Carlisle or possibly Bolton, the former looking much more likely though.

Stephen Drench who missed out on the Wembley promotion game due to an arm injury now plays for Farsley Celtic and watched him last Saturday playing against Scarboro on Scarboro TV along with my son-in law who is a big 'Boro fan.
