15 if you count double spells. Only equalled by Dean Howell now at Crawley Town but in four less years.

Fensome was a top player remember him winning players player of the year once and well deserved.

If he was coaching at preston he must have been there with big Jim.

Does anyone know if Garry Thompson was injured didn't see him listed in the Scunthorpe squad at the weekend.

Now this fella was one of my faves too from around the same time Andy Fensome was with us...

Darren was a prominent member of Sammy Mac's Championship winning Macclesfield squad.

Class midfielder in my book.

Stimmo resigns at Garstang FC :

In a surprise development, Garstang Football Club have announced the resignation of Manager Barrie Stimpson after 15 months in charge. Stimmo, who was in the process of rebuilding his team at the start of the new season, had found it difficult combining an increasing workload in his daily job with the commitment required to manage an ambitious club like Garstang.

Stimmo said, in a meeting with the Chairman on Thursday night, that he recently had less time available for football and this was not fair to the players, the club management or the supporters and therefore thought it was the right decision to step down and make way for someone who had the time and commitment that Garstang deserves.

Stimpson joined Garstang FC in June last year; the highlights of his season, taking the Club to the top of the league before Christmas and then on to the Final of the Lancashire Amateur Shield, losing 4-3 in extra time to Blackpool Wren Rovers in what was a memorable night.

The Chairman, Adrian Wilding said, “This is obviously a disappointing turn of events when so many good things are happening around the Club, but we must be practical, respect Barrie’s decision and the reasoning behind it, and thank him for efforts in the time he spent with us. We will look to recruit a successor in due course and Assistant Manager Geoff Wilson will run team affairs for now. Geoff has the support of the senior players and can draw on an experienced 'back room' in the members of the Club Management Committee”.

From Bamber Bridge FC :

Aaron Taylor

Striker, Aaron started his football career with Morecambe’s successful academy and made his full Football League debut against Rochdale on the 18th October 2008 and marked the occasion with a goal. He regularly featured in the Morecambe side. He joined Conference side Barrow on a five week loan at the start of the 2009-10 season before returning to Morecambe. He was released by Morecambe in May 2010. Aaron then signed for Kendal Town before switching to Witton Albion on the 22nd October 2010. Joined the ranks at Irongate a month later on the 26th November 2010.
