Thommo Back to Stadium MK Tonight

Back to where he played his last game for us. Good luck to him, hope he gets a start ;)

If they do get promoted maybe he will come back home :D

Hope Mark Lillis can contain himself while his son Josh is in goal otherwise he will be running round the pitch again

missed a decent chance. Commentator being a bit harsh on him though!

Scunthorpe go through on sudden-death penalties. The shoot-out went ten rounds, with Tore Andre Flo hitting the cross-bar sending the Iron to Wembley for the second time this season.

Thommo was taken off at the end of the first period of extra time.

....apart from recognising the fact that he was signed from Morecambe and scored at Wembley two years ago to help us win promotion to the league! 8-) 8-) 8-)

I think Gary Birtles was the harsh one.

I think that's just his nature! When Thommo had that early chance but got the ball stuck under his feet, I agreed with Birtles saying he should've taken it earlier and I'd expect Nigel Adkins to have said the same thing! It's called encouragement! ;)

Birtles is the "expert" who predicted that our first season in league 2 would end in relegation back to BSN.

Doesn't Birtles have problem with Sammy?

I think you're right. Perhaps if there'd been more chances, his miss wouldn't have been highlighted so much.

No matter, he's going back to the place he knows so well now...

I thought he had a poor game. I always thought he played Hot and cold (a bit lazy at times!) and he definately looked lazy tonight. I think morecambe sold at the right time! although he would probably fit into our team at the moment, but we do want to improve our team.

Disagree, just thought he was unlucky with his best chance.
We never sold him.
Could we afford him back? He used 2 pairs of boots in one game
