Burnley might be Premiership by then!

Not necessarily. Premier League teams play a greater proportion of their 'weekend' matches on days other than Saturday than we do.

iam a Blackburn Rovers fan and personally would like Morecambe and Rovers to arrange a friendly match.as there is a number of rovers fans in the Morecambe and Lancaster area.I remember a few years ago that Rovers brought players like-Friedel,Bellamy,Dickov ,Tugay.and a full team with them and there was a good crowd on.That would be a good idea to bring the2 clubs together as Morecambe F.c allow Blackburn Rovers Reserves too play there Home Games at Christie Park

Forget your really crap teams like Burnley, Blackpool, Bolton, Blackburn. Let's play someone really rubbish like PNE.

Pre-season 2010/11 a tour of Poland or Ireland. Start planning it now so fans can save up. Great craic, a chance for a bit of scouting, team building and raise the club profile in a manner that may attract more fans (ie local Poles). Then, on our return, stadium opening with a decent Premiership team (unless England fancy a game? )

That might be one of the add-ons for the Duffy deal. We get their best player, and in return they get £20k and a pre-season friendly against an established high-profile football league outfit. :P

Great pre-season away support.
They caught Lancaster City centre by surprise a couple of seasons ago.

Yeah, it's confirmed on their website:
"Three pre-season friendlies have been arranged. 14 July Home v Morecambe, 23 July Away at Marine and 1 August Home v Rochdale"
