Morecambe's allocation - Do your bit for the club

Morecambe's allocation - Do your bit for the club

Postby thegentlegiant » Tue Apr 07, 2009 4:24 pm

I have just sent I message to the 1300 strong members of the MFC Bus campaign and told them to get on down to Christie Park on Friday.

If only 25 out of them come that's a great result, has anyone else been spreading the word?

Sam

I know loads, and I mean loads of people that are going that wouldn't usually. I can see the turn out from our fans being impressive aswell ;) With still a few days left until the game, it isn't too late to persuade as many of your mates to get down to CP, I will try my best to get even more going!

I put up some posters around Lancaster University today. Most folk have gone home but those around might be short of things to do over the bank holiday weekend.

Hopefully i should be able to blag half a dozen mates along too. ;) Maybe even the Mrs.!

If it's not your cup final then why are alot floaters attending the game?

Because it's Good Friday? - Yeah, whatever.

How come there's advertising posters all over Morecambe regarding this very fixture when usually there isn't much interest?

Why do you go on about us all the time and cream yourselves when we lose?

How come a good friend of mine actually lives in Morecambe and he's already stated and I quote, "The town is buzzing"?

Not your cup final? - Keep telling yourselves that.

No, you are right, playing Bradford City is without doubt, the biggest game of our season, the same as it was last season, same as it will be next season! We love being in the fourth division playing clubs like you... do you love being in the fourth division, playing clubs like us?    :D

Well at least I can alway's count on you Mr. Admin to contribute with real honesty - It makes a change does it not?

I must admit Mr. Admin, it has been a real eye-opener and an experience at that - Something I wouldn't be too fussed about having to do it again for another season.
