So Exeter currently sit in second with a great chance for automatic promotion.
If we could somhow magically swap with them would you have delayed promotion by a year to be where they are now?

No , We would have lost our 100% record at Wembley , missed out on winning at Wolverhampton Wanderers , Preston N E , Hartlepool etc as well as missing out on reaching the area final of the Johnstones Paint Trophy.
And we would have had a very miserable journey home on 20 May 2007.

Most definately not.

However, maybe if we had adopted a more positve approach in certain games we would now be in contention for a play off place. 6 more goals (4 at home and 2 away) in all the drawn games would have brought an additional 12 points giving us a current total of 65.

you would also have swapped PNE & Wolves, what a great start to a League Cup campaign!

I never considered Exeter to be our peers, they were a bigger club. Dagenham & Redbridge are our peers, I wouldn't want to swap with them.

So how did that work out then?
