Despite financial input by the ex Man Utd contingent, finances must be tight if this action has been taken.

Could this be the start of a gradual decline in interest.... :?: :?: :?:

Mind you I wouldn't be surprised if over the coming weeks our club have to make some critical decisions regarding funding of the club and its teams...and who could blame them....not me.... :!: :!: :!:

The money is being invested in the under 23s , so its not really a cutback is it, just a shift in policy .

A league 2 club employing a coach like Warren Joyce but they are short of money? Like MPH says, rather than paying a million to upgrade their academy they are just investing in their u23's. Is there any point in a league 2 club situated in Greater Manchester having a youth academy?
