Next 6 games

Next 6 games

Postby Redalert1970 » Sun Nov 17, 2019 7:29 pm

Very very tough spell of games coming up till end of 2019

Crewe away
Carlisle home
Plymouth away
Newport home
Oldham home
Cambridge away

If we get 6 points from them 6 games it won’t be a bad return but will that be enough

That would put us on 20 points from 24 games

After that we would need at least another 20 points from last 22 games to have chance of staying up

We have to be looking to win every home game and look at away points as a bonus. 6 out of 18 is relegation form and we really need to snap out of that kind of negative thinking.

Let’s start with a big 3pts at Crewe. They have the worst recent form(last 3 lge games) in the top 8, and it could be a good time to be playing them :?:

I hope we will still get 11-12 points from these fixtures.

Wins against Carlisle & Oldham would be massive.

Lets go for 10 points and we will be 17th where Orient currently are.

Then after Christmas we will make a push for the top half :o

We will piss this tinpot league

Even though they're having a wobble, I still see this as a very difficult fixture and anything from this game will be a bonus.
Lose this and the Carlisle game will be a six pointer

Agree OA, but with Crewe having a “wobble,” should leave more potential to go at them, and “ knock them down,”( metaphorically speaking COYS.)

Totally agree with you but if the defence give Porter more than a sniff, it's game over
