Surely, they must have paid quite a substantial amount though, not only to pay off PMG, but also to pay other loans/debts and to cover the club's losses for the past year. Unless PMG agreed to write off all his debts, the amount they've paid must be well in excess of a million.

They purchased £750,000 in share capital.

PMG converted all his loans prior to the Lemos sale, worth £2.2 milion, into shares, which enabled the club to be sold. Arguably the club didn't belong to PMG at the time it was sold to Bond Group.

I think I posted more info as in 'yes'.

My understanding is that at the time of the sale to Bond Group another party were interested in some form of deal with (sponsorship) or for the club. That was from a businessperson from the area with funds and backing. Obviously, that didn't happen. The interest is apparently still there. Whether the article in the paper and the statement today is an attempt to tease that out and get them to put a deal on the table, I don't know, but sounds plausible.
