I was sad to see Hedley let go. I saw him play in the reserves (as captain) a few times and he seemed a perfectly competent (yet inexperienced) midfielder - similar to Kenyon but not quite so reckless! Got himself about a lot, plenty of tackling, but also looked a threat going forward. Great shame he never got a chance to break into the first team. Perhaps, looking back to what's happened with Flemmo and our lack of midfield options, Jim should have kept him as I think he'd get a fair run in the first team now.

I liked Hedley also, he was a good passer but was a little slow over the ground.
For me the big miss is Flemo, who was slagged off by many, and was injury prone, but boy could he read a game and intercept trouble and then start attacks!
Feel sorry for Brewitt as his chance has come and he’s not fit to take it!

Not sure that name will catch on mind!!!

It’s crap, hopefully it can’t get any worse!

I agree that a change in midfield is needed, both for closing down and cover of the back four and distribution forward, we have options that’s for sure!

Last 8 games , no wins. If say the next 4 league games produce Nil points as they say in Norway do you think Jim could continue ?

How do we know Ken has no idea's that he has been allowed to use. There may be idea's that Ken has that are not being used with Jim calling all the shots.

Saw nothing new on saturday to change my thoughts,jb got lucky by firstly the Cobblers being content to defend their 2-0 lead.and then the injury to Conlon which led to Buxton getting on and changing things for the better!

"Lots" don't want Jim. Slightly different to "no one wants".
No-one is happy with how things are going, but many fans are willing to give Jim a bit longer. As someone said to me on Saturday, "if they [the owners] have the money required to pay Jim & Kenny off, then I'd rather they made it available to sign another player".

I was there last Saturday. I was at Oldham. I've seen five League games 'live' this season (four home, one away). Not too bad considering I don't live in England. Feel free to come and say 'hello' some time.

We are into October , the season is 2 months old and the vast majority of Morecambe fans haven't seen the team win.

The gates have held up well so far with an average of over 2,100 but how long will people come to watch a team that doesn't win at home ?

These are worrying times indeed.

The figures are heavily fluctuated, we hardly get 1000 fans nowadays. Who can blame them with the dross that is offered out week after week.

Funny how so many people outside of the club consistently comment upon how amazing it is that Jim has kept Morecambe in the Football League then? You know, people who understand how football clubs work?

Lowest budget.
Lowest crowds.
Bookies favourite for relegation every season.
Players & management not paid on numerous occasions.

"done nothing"? Yeah, if you say so.
