Current Squad (updated squad list for 22/23)

Fossop or Fossu or something like that, was at Burton apparently.
He hit the post with a header, then gave the penalty away, then scored with a header so he was always in the action. Big unit.

He's obviously not very bright is he? Typical footballer... :D :D :D

...I wonder if he'd see coming to us as a risk worth taking?

SR must have terrific network of contacts when you look at where some of the new players have come from.

Mensah for instance was with Weymouth last season. When was the last time we signed a player from a South Coast club....and not a single signing so it appears from Merseyside... :o :o :o

:?: :?: :?:

Never stayed long at a club, so hard to tell if he’s the real deal or just looks good in training, time will tell should he sign

I could have got my wires crossed. It maybe just that the list can't be added to after the close of the transfer season which makes sense.

I'm sure this has been mentioned and I've probably not seen it, but it would be a really nice touch to retire Mbulu's number.

4th August 2020...

"Good morning all, before we end up putting 2 & 2 together and making 5, I can assure you that the kit, numbers on the kit, etc, that are presently being used in pre-season training have no relevance at all to the squad numbers for the forthcoming season. The squad numbers will be announced as and when Derek is near to completing his playing squad, RT"

4th July 2020, Rod Taylor:

“Immediately upon hearing the news Alex Kenyon, another leader in the Morecambe dressing room, came to the board on behalf of the team to request that Christian’s number 34 shirt be retired in his memory. That this request came so quickly from those at the club who knew him best says a huge amount about how much he meant to them. No-one will wear the number 34 shirt for Morecambe Football Club again. It is Christian’s number.”

Assuming you're not joking, first name would be pronounced kind of like this; Jock all. Andrèsson is just like that.

Google says Jokull means 'glacier' so he is literally the Iceman. Many puns abound, how cool is that, glacier mint etc. Could call him Freez but we already have one of those :D

This time three years ago... How times have changed! Only Aaron and Sam remain, with Baz now taking up his role as GK coach

We have also now officialy signed promising 18 year old keeper Dawid Szczepaniak (I bet kitman Les is happy he is only the 3rd choice and hopefully won’t need to spell that out on the back of a shirt this season!) from Airbus UK Broughton FC on a one-year deal, starting off in the youth development squad.

As it stands:

Roche (1)
Halstead (1)
Szczepniak (1 - dev. squad)

Old (2)
Lavelle (2)
Conlan (1)
Cranston (1)
Mills (1)
Brownsword (1)

Sinclair (1)
Tutte (2)
Hedley (1/2)
Kenyon (1)
Wildig (1)
Fleming (1)
Campbell (1)
Jagne (1)
Mendes Gomes (1)

Ellison (1)
Oliver (1)
Oswell (2)
Oates (2)
Hawley (1)
-> (loan) Mandeville (1)
Thommo (6m)
