This might be a silly question.. But do we need to be accepted to join the National League and if so when does this have to be by

With all our issues behind the scenes is there anyway we wouldn't be accepted.???

It may have changed, but the agreement to begin promotion/relegation between EFL & 'Conference' included a requirement that the fifth tier of English football must accept a relegated ELF side, regardless of financial position etcetera. Even a side in Administration must be accepted, although I suspect additional points deductions would still apply.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Boston were put straight into Conference North when they got relegated from the EFL in 2007 because they were subject of an insolvency event - in administration, I think it was. So whilst they’ll accept anyone into the National League structure it doesn’t always mean the National division.
