Postby Shrimps Trust » Wed Jul 17, 2019 6:47 pm

The Shrimps Trust AGM will be held on Monday 22nd July from 7pm to be followed by a Q&A session with some Morecambe FC players.

Our first confirmed guest will be Andy Fleming.

Please join us for the evening to kick start the 2019-20 campaign!

Members who have renewed can collect their packs on the night, and those that haven't can do so on the night. We will also be taking votes for the next inductees to the Legends Wall.

Do those who have taken out lifetime memberships a couple of years back also receive packs.

1) Enjoyed it tonight, there seems good spirit between the Lads, and when asked they did say they're looking at the play offs.

2) Also the Roof, under PMG it was looked at, and the estimate was around £200.000, and that sort of money just isn't available.

But! Rod did say that the Club got another estimate for a basic under cover area at £30.000 what covers 1/3 of the back of the stand whats a better idea IMO. And as fans we've to try and raise money ourselves, personally I think it can be done over a few seasons, with things like a just-giving page and pot builder for people to see the Pot growing.

3) Andy Fleming best Morecambe "11" but mistakenly named "12" in a 4-4-3 and Devitt behind the Front 2. :P

Roche
Mills - Bentley - McCready - Wilson
Duffy - Stanley - Rose - Ellison
Devitt
Barkhaizen - Mullin(Older one)

Lifetime members are entitled to the annual badge and other contents of the pack yes, but do not receive the annual membership card (as they have a life card).

This is available on collection.

Thanks to everyone who came tonight it was another good turnout.

If not mistaken, I'm sure they said one is a former player? So guessing Jack Redshaw or Sean Miller?

My guess at the two new players coming in this week is Lewis Allessandra and Shaun Miller.

I can’t see it being Perks, I was speaking with his Dad after Tranmere won promotion and he said David had 12 months of his Tranmere contract left.

My money is on Jack returning but I’m probably completely wrong, I usually am :?

From that list Perks would be my first choice even though he must be 36/37 now. Allessandra would be my 2nd choice.

I know that neither are on your list Andy D, but I have a suspicion that the two could be BALE and POGBA.

They both seem very unsettled where they are now.

Just getting told off by "the boss" - she says I've been in the sun too long this morning!!! NAH. :D

Allesandra and Miller would be excellent additions and would certainly make us stronger

Whoever these new players are I hope that one is able to take control in midfield and dictate play because for me we are very short in thee creative department.

A defensive midfield would be excellent but a creative supremo with the demise of Fleming has become a priority.

If one is a striker then it wouldn't surprise me is a return for Mullers who may find EFL1 a step too far at this moment in time.

I thought Jim mentioned the other week he was hoping to bring 2 new players in , but i thought with Flemmo now having to retire we would need 3 more . Not being greedy or anything just doing the maths . ;)

I asked Rod Taylor last night and he confirmed that at least one of the players is one of the blurred faces in the pre-season training video's.
